     DETAILS OF ISA ACTIVITIES (2009-2010)



This academic year (june 2009 - February 2010) our school has registered for this programme. The activities aim at embedding internationalism in the curriculum. These projects encourage enquiry based learning. Classes from UKG to XI standard will be involved in the programme.

     The International School Award is an accreditation scheme for curriculum - based international work in school.

    The ISA encourages and supports to develop the following:

  • A Majority of pupils within the school impacted by and involved in International work.
  • Curriculum - based work across a wide range of subjects.
  • An international ethos embedded throughout the school.
  • Year round international activity.
  • Collaborative curriculum based work with a number of partner schools.
  • Involvement of the wider community
  • Evaluation from a variety of sources allowing you to improve your activities and your international programme.
  •

         India was the first country outside the UK to introduce the Award in 1998.
