Scout troop is functioning in our school from 1991-92. Thirty
two students from standards 6 & 7 will be enrolled and trained.
Our troop is named 'Sir Robert Stanes Memorial
Scout Troop' The characteristic feature of the Scout
movement is physical mental, moral and spiritual development
of the scouts by adult leadership. The aim is to develop progressively
self discipline, self reliance, self responsibility and service
to others. The Scouts are provided observation, acquistion of
knowledge and useful crafts.
The Scouts are provided facilities
conducive to their spiritual development. The emphasis is on
natural equality, mutual co-operation and the development of
qualities of leadership. Mr.J.Ramesh, Tamil pandit of our school
is in-charge of the troop. |
