1. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
a) Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in a student being suspended from school. Repeated offences of the kind mentioned above may ultimately result in the removal of the student from the school.
b) School property willfully damaged or destroyed will be required to be made good. In addition a heavy fine may also be imposed.
c) Students of the school are not permitted to ride/drive any motorized vehicle in the school campus, nor will they be allowed to park these in the school campus. Those coming by bicycles will need to getoff from them as they enter the school campus. The parking lot is to be used by the students to park their bicicles. All cycles should be kept locked.
d) Cars will not be allowed to enter through the main gate on working days. They shall use the Entry and Exit gates adjacent to the L.I.C building or the park road.
e) Students are not permitted to eat their lunch inside the classrooms.
f) The classrooms and corridors are not extension of playground and hence no playing or running around shall be indulged in, in these areas of the school buildings.
g) Every child should and must possess the school diary. The diary should be brought to class everyday. If it is lost, a new one must be purchased from the school office by remitting Rs. 100/- only.
h) No parents or visitor may meet the teachers or students during the working hours of the school without the prior permission of the Principal. The Staff Rooms are are strictly out of bounds for all parents.
i) Students are not allowed to bring valuable items (such as cell phones, cameras, ipods and electronic items atc.,) to the school. Students if found in possession of the same will have it confiscated and will be returned only alongwith T.C.
j) Parents/Visitors may meet the Principal on all working days between 3.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. or else by appointment only.
k) Students who are waiting for their conveyance or parents after tuition must wait in front of the office building and not anywhere in the premises.
l) Parents are requested to instruct their drivers and helpers to abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
2. MISCONDUCT
The following may be intrepreted as gross misconduct and may result in a student's dismissal from the school.
a) Truancy either from Assembly or from Class.
b) Habitual late coming.
c) Shortage of attendance without valid reason (Less than 80% of the working days in the month).
d) Indifference towards studies.
e) Rudeness or insubordination towards the School Authorities.
f) Failure to participate in the co-curricular programmes of the School held during the year.
g) Driving a motorized vehicle in the School Campus.
h) Smoking or chewing of addictive substances.
i) Consuming alcoholic drinks.
j) Stealing.
k) Spitting or writing on the walls or on School furniture.
l) Unauthorized meeting with friends who are outsiders or even ex-students during the working hours of the school.
m) Ragging and bullying juniors is strictly forbidden.
n) Malpractice adopted during tests and examinations will be dealt with severely.
3. GENERAL
Students must produce Gate Pass to leave the premises during working hours. A gate pass slip should be collected from the main office and signed by the Class Teacher and then by the AHM or Vice Principal/Principal. This may be produced at the gate in order to leave the campus.
